Campus & community involvement

In addition to our national philanthropy, our chapter is committed to participating in events sponsored by UCLA and to regularly taking part in service opportunities outside of campus that help better our community here in Los Angeles.

Throughout our virtual quarters, members of our chapter have engaged in virtual philanthropy opportunities. Each month, our chapter has held a fundraiser for a different organization. Members have also participated in independent neighborhood cleanups, donated through blood drives, and written cards to children through St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Each year, members of our chapter participate in Dance Marathon, an event put on by UCLA's Pediatric Aids Coalition to support the research and prevention of pediatric AIDS. Our sisters pledge to stand on their feet for 26 hours to literally take a stand against pediatric HIV/AIDS.

Reading to Kids is an organization that aims to benefit underserved children by inspiring them with a love of reading. Throughout the year, members of our chapter have the opportunity to volunteer for this incredible cause by reading to children around LA.
